Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and MoiScout ("MoiScout", "we", "us") for the use of moiscout.com, the daily digest, the free tools, and any paid plans we offer. By using the service you agree to these terms.

What MoiScout is

MoiScout finds public brand requests for UGC creators (from sources such as public Reddit posts, job listings, and public ad libraries), checks them for scam patterns and relevance, and delivers them by email. We also offer free tools, currently the Portfolio Grader, with more to come.

What MoiScout is not

• We are not a marketplace, agency, employer, or party to any deal between you and a brand.
• Leads are pointers to public requests. We do not verify the identity, solvency, or intentions of any brand, and we do not guarantee that any lead results in work or payment.
• Scam and relevance scores are automated assessments to help you judge, not guarantees. Always use your own judgment before working with anyone.

Your account and use

• You must be at least 18 to use the service.
• Keep your sign in links and account access to yourself. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Provide accurate information, including in tool submissions.

You agree not to:

• Resell, republish, or bulk redistribute our lead data or digests.
• Scrape, crawl, or access the service by automated means outside features we provide.
• Use the service to spam, harass, defraud, or break any law, including anti spam law that applies to your outreach.
• Interfere with the operation or security of the service.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Free and paid plans

The daily digest and free tools are provided at no charge. Paid plans, when offered, will be billed through Stripe on the pricing shown at purchase, renew automatically until cancelled, and can be cancelled at any time by emailing support@moiscout.com, taking effect at the end of the billing period. Where required by law, refunds will be honored; otherwise fees are non refundable. We may change plan pricing or features with notice before your next renewal.

Content and ownership

The service, including its software, design, data compilations, and branding, belongs to MoiScout. Original posts and listings that leads link to belong to their respective owners and platforms. Content you submit to tools stays yours; you give us permission to process it in order to provide the service.

Availability and changes

The service is provided as is and as available. We work on it continuously and may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time. Coverage of specific sources may change (for example, we do not currently cover Instagram DMs).

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law:

• We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement.
• We are not liable for lost profits, lost opportunities, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including decisions made based on leads, scores, or benchmarks.
• Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 Canadian dollars if you paid nothing.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to hold us harmless from claims arising out of your dealings with brands or other third parties, your content, or your breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes will be handled in the courts of Ontario.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material we will note the new effective date here and announce significant changes by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
